The 1964 Detroit Tigers included Hall-of-Famer Al Kaline along with Norm Cash, Willie Horton, Mickey Lolich, Denny McLain, Bill Freehan, Dave Wickersham, Jerry Lumpe, Jake Wood, Billy Bruton, Dick McAuliffe, Don Demeter, Gates Brown, Don Wert, Phil Regan and Hank Aguirre. In 1964 the Tigers were managed by Charlie Dressen and went 85-77 to finished 4th in the American League. Bill Freehan led the team in hitting, batting .300. Dick McAuliffe led the team in Home Runs with 24, while Norm Cash led the team in RBI with 83. Dave Wickersham led Tiger pitchers with 19 Wins, while Mickey Lolich led the team in Strikeouts with 196 and ERA at 3.26. There is a two page spread entitled "Watch for These Faces" that shows pictures of up and coming Tigers Mickey Stanley, Jim Northrup and Denny McLain. The condition of this yearbook is VG. The front cover has nice color and gloss, with some wear. There is some creasing to the upper right corner. The back cover has some light staining. The spine is strong, with some fuzziness to the bottom tip and some chipping at the top 1". The insides are clean. The yearbook is complete and intact. Please check the scans.
