This listing is for the following custom 1/24 diecast NASCAR racecar: A.J. Foyt's 1989 Copenhagen Oldsmobile from the Gilmore-Foyt Racing team. Made using a Revell 1/24 scale Oldsmobile Cutlass stock car as a donor car. Original paint was stripped to metal and then repainted with a black semigloss paint. High quality Powerslide waterslide decals were added after paint was applied and coated. This Oldsmobile displays a higher level of attention to detail; the black and red Copenhagen colors are period correct and chrome wheels are (accurately) included, matching livery that featured the large red patch of paint on the roof underneath the large #14. This car was run during the 1989 Winston Cup season and was a lead lap car at the restrictor plate races of Daytona and Talladega and was a legitimate contender for a top 10 finish at those 4 races. Diecast Includes a protective plastic case for display and will ship, bubble wrapped safely inside of that case and then placed inside of a donor box. Rare and unique driver, sponsor and car combination was not commercially produced- only a handful of decal sets were released over the years with this sponsorship livery. Highest quality (commercially produced) decal set available was used (Powerslide waterslide) This item item is for: fans of stock car racing (during the golden age), collectors of higher quality diecasts, collectors of rare and unusual racing/auto diecasts, AJ Foyt fans, and for collectors of tobacco memorabilia as well (and anybody else that thinks this car (and most of AJ's other cars)plus its colors/design is aesthetically perfect just like I do. USPS Ground Advantage is the recommended/default shipping method and will ship Monday-Friday until 5:00 pm and Saturday until 1:30 pm. I am not aware of any major flaws in paint/decals on Car- if you do notice any type of potential issue with paint, decals etc, please send me a message and I will review it, answer questions, and will adjust the price or fix the issue when possible/appropriate.
