Product parameters Input voltage range: 5~5.5V Charging cutoff voltage: 4.2V ±0.5% Charging current: 2.4A ± 5% Boost output voltage: 5V~5.15V (with line loss compensation) Boost output voltage ripple: 100mV Boost output current: 2A Boost conversion efficiency: 92.5% (3.6V input, 5V 2A output) Battery terminal static current: <30uA Suitable for 3.7V lithium batteries, including polymer and 18650 batteries. The charging cut-off voltage is 4.2V. Product Introduction This module integrates single-cell lithium battery charging and discharging. It boosts a 3.7V battery to 5V/2A. The Type-C port is only used for charging input; when connected to 5V, it provides charging. Four indicator lights represent four segments of battery level. During charging, the lights flash according to the battery level; when fully charged, all four lights illuminate. When not charging, the 5V output port and USB-A port provide a boosted 5V output. The module features over-current and over-voltage protection for better safety of output devices. LED indicators on the module provide a clear and intuitive understanding of its operating status. Applications include power banks and portable devices such as mobile phones and tablets. Basic module condition assessment: When no battery is connected, with the 5V input to the Type-C port, three lights will remain constantly lit, and one light will flash, indicating the module is working properly. Precautions 1. The motherboard has been received. First, connect the charger to test it. When the LED lights are on, the fourth LED will be slightly lit when the power is first turned on, which is normal. 2. For normal use, the battery must be soldered (twisting the wires will result in insufficient power supply), and reversing the battery connection will burn out the motherboard. Please be extremely careful. 3. The battery and motherboard cables should not be too thin; they should be as thick as possible. They should be able to carry 5A of current. They also should not be too long, and the connectors need to be soldered. 4. Batteries can only be connected in parallel (no limit on the number of parallel connections), not in series. Connecting batteries in series will burn out the motherboard. 5. Ensure the battery is working properly. If the battery fully charges immediately upon connection but cannot discharge when plugged into the phone, it is most likely due to battery aging and failure. 6. Do not add a protection board to the battery. Some batteries are not originally designed for power banks and have protection boards that limit the current. They may disconnect the output for protection if the current exceeds the limit by one or two amps. 7. Attention: Reversing the circuit board will burn it out.
