VINTAGE KATHE KRUSE GERMAN DOLL 14.5" 'Daisy' -NIB. Each doll takes from 16 to 36 hours to make. It can take up to four years to learn how to paint the dolls face. Because of the care that goes into making each Kathe Kruse Doll, very few dolls are made each year. This is a vintage Kathe Kruse German doll named 'Daisy', measuring 14.5 inches in length and about 6 inches wide. Made in Germany, the doll features brown hair, blue eyes, and has a medium light complexion. She is beautifully dressed in a red and white plaid dress and panties, with a white and red polka dot apron. She is also wearing white stockings. Daisy has never been removed from her original box and has several original documents. Kathe Kruse is the oldest German Doll Company that is still existing and working in the traditional way. Each doll takes from 16 to 36 hours to make. During that time, it will pass through the hands of 8-10 craft people and artists. It can take up to four years to learn how to paint the dolls face. Because of the care that goes into making each Kathe Kruse Doll, very few dolls are made each year. Everything is made by hand.
