The era of Mitsubishi Starion GTO Eclipse Japanese Book Magazine Databook. ○Story of the racing scene of Stallion and GTO. In this book, we decided to focus on these three cars, which have not been covered much until now, and to introduce the genealogy of successive generations of models along with the era when Japan was at the forefront of the world. 【Description】 A databook that presents the genealogy of famous cars essential to the automobile culture of the Showa and Heisei eras, with an entertaining historical background. The Stallion, which Mitsubishi Motors introduced to the market in the early 1980s at the height of its “full-line turbo” model development, inspired many car enthusiasts. Its sports car-like supercar lights and exoskeleton-like fighting style reminded us of the surprise we felt when the Galant Lambda was introduced by Mitsubishi a long time ago. Eight years after that shocking encounter with the Stallion, the GTO appeared, this time with overwhelming power and a modern 4WD mechanism. The super robot-like sports car that evolved from the Stallion to the GTO became very popular not only in Japan but also overseas, as is still fresh in our memories. As we squinted at the cars, especially in North America, where they changed their names, the Eclipse model made a triumphant return with its left-hand steering wheel. In this book, we decided to focus on these three cars, which have not been covered much until now, and to introduce the genealogy of successive generations of models along with the era when Japan was at the forefront of the world. We invite you to look back on the glory days of these cars, which were moderately active in car chase scenes in movies, as well as the nostalgic times of these cars. ○Introducing the lineage of the GTO and Eclipse, starting with the Stallion, which was introduced in 1982. The exhibition is composed of fun visuals that allow you to compare and see the changes according to the official announcements, including information on vehicle changes by year, grade changes, and changes in specifications. ○Stallion - GTO - A nostalgic story about the historical background of the Eclipse A nostalgic look at the historical background in Japan and abroad along with the song scene from the 1980s to the early 2000s. ○Story of the racing scene of Stallion and GTO Stories of the circuit scene such as Group A and Super Taikyu, as well as the WBC rally, are introduced! Focusing on the existence of “export vehicles” common to all three cars.
