This knife for auction is a 2019 issue Case Special Factory Order 130th Anniversary Mini Trapper, 3 1/2" closed, with the great looking Case "Second Cut" Jigged Golden Age Bone (cattle bone) handles and the nickel silver Case CXXX stamped Bomb shield. This Case Special Factory Order Mini Trapper was manufactured exclusively for a Case retailer in 2019 with the exclusive Roman Number dating on the tang stamp and the shield. CXXX signifies the number 130 in Roman Numerals. The significance of the number 130 is that W.R. Case & Sons celebrated 130 years in the cutlery industry in 2019, and of course this Case 130th Anniversary Mini Trapper was manufactured in 2019. The master Clip blade is stamped on the front tang with Case CXXX USA, dating this as a 2019 issue Case knife, while the front tang of the Spey blade is pattern stamped with USA 6207 SS.
