Description Yamaha YP-500 Belt Drives Record Player This record player was developed using Yamaha's renowned high-precision processing technology. The turntable is a 30cm aluminum die-cast turntable. The motor is a synchronous belt-drive type with constant rotation. The entire mechanism is suspended by a double float suspension with Yamaha's unique M.V.O. (Motor Vibration Off) system to suppress vibration from the motor and external sources. A simple J-shaped light alloy pipe arm is used for the tone arm. With an effective length of 221.6 mm, it is a total mass-balanced type with the additional mechanism housed within the frame, making it a tone arm with high tracing capability. The head shell is equipped with an international standard plug-in replacement system, and the needle pressure is directly readable and adjustable, and an anti-skater mechanism is also provided. It is equipped with an easy-to-use auto mechanism. This mechanism mixes the best features of both manual and auto, allowing auto start, auto cut, and manual start by simply operating a switch that combines the two functions of Play and Off. A cueing mechanism is built in to allow the user to pause record play and replay the record from the halfway point. A silicon hydraulic cylinder provides gentle operation to prevent damage to the record. The cabinet is finished with rosewood. All my products are 100% Authentic.
