A unique promotional item offered in Germany is called a Cinemaplakatkarte, the literal translation meaning Film Poster Card. Film cards are not on card stock, as are baseball cards. The thickness depends on when each card was printed. On one side of the item is an image of what the German poster looks like. The reverse has information about the film. These cards, first printed in 1987 for Cinema Magazine , are unique because a collector can see that the German poster often differs from its American counterpart. Cinema Magazine also produced a limited edition set of film cards which feature the front cover of Cinema Magazines. The reverse side differs from regular film cards and shows the contents for the magazine. Offered is a German film card from the special "cover" set. This item has minimal wear. An image is attached.
