This item is in the Ashberry pattern from the St. Michael line. It has an ivory white glaze decorated with a multi-color fruit motif of apples, grapes, and cherries. The rim edge is trimmed in green. The handle is gold colored metal. This serving plate was produced from a dinner plate with a hole drilled through the center. This pattern was produced from 1988 to 1995. Note that this pattern is very similar to the Country Lane pattern by Royal Doulton except for the brushed green trim on the latter. This is stamped on the bottom "St. Michael, Ashberry, English Fine China, Oven Dishwasher Freezer, Made in the U.K., 2605". This is superimposed with a semi-transparent black decal with "Made in England". NOTE THAT THIS SERVING PLATE IS NOT MICROWAVE SAFE BECAUSE OF THE METAL HANDLE. The plate is approximately 10-3/4 inches in diameter. With the handle attached it is 5-1/2 inches tall. CONDITION: This vintage piece is in very good used condition. The glaze is bright and clean. There are little, light use and scuff marks to the glaze and light wear to the gold colored handle. These can be seen in the photographs.
