Vintage Gavel Salt Pepper Shaker Set With Holder - Silver Plated. Vintage Gavel Salt Pepper Shaker Set With Holder - Silver Plated. The metal appears to be silver plated. It shines up nice and is not magnetic. The handles appear to be plastic and unscrew. When I opened the pepper shaker it had a tube of broken glass. I have not been able to open the salt shaker. See pictures. There is a rusted spot that looks like it was a mark of some kind but I can’t make it out. Other than that there is not a silver mark. Oh if the walls good talk!
