Vintage Mosser Amethyst Carnival Glass Hen on Nest 6.5" Covered Dish Pristine. Beautiful vintage Mosser Glass Hen on Nest 2-piece covered candy dish. This standard full-size piece features a gorgeous amethyst base with a vibrant, high-gloss carnival glass finish. The iridescent glaze shows beautiful "oil slick" color shifts of electric blue, deep purple and emerald, green. This would have been crafted from a Westmoreland mold and features the iconic wide, wavy scalloped flange rim on the nest and highly detailed split-tail feather on the hen. The manufacture date was circa 1970s - 1980s in Cambridge, Ohio. It measures 6.5" long x 5.5" wide x 4" tall. It is in excellent condition with bright colors, and no cracks, chips or fleabites.
