This book is a standard reference work on the extraordinary development of American fighting aircraft from the P-40 and P-51 fighters and the B-17 and B-29 bombers of World War II to the F-15 and F-16 fighters. There is some minor edge wear, a 1/2" tear on the bottom edge of the DJ at the spine that has been sealed on the inside with magic tape (see the scan), a previous owners initials are embossed on an early page, and there are two very small spots of paper loss on the endpaper inside the front cover, but this book is still in very good condition. No collection of books on U.S. Military Aircraft is complete without this one. Check out the scan for the great cover and so you can judge the condition for yourself (unlike many other booksellers, who post generic scans, the book in my scan is the one you will get).
