Calculate Your Quantity: Divide your total inches by 12 to find how many "feet" (quantity) you need. For example, a 36-inch shelf would require a quantity of 3. Previous Life: It is common for books to have an inscription from a previous owner, a small amount of writing, or a few dog-eared pages.
