At any rate, excellent detailing of this traditional systems. The authors totally reworked their coverage of the French Classical published by Chess Digest, by chapters named by variation (instead of simply listing moves) and adding paragraphs of text explanation. The analysis, as well, appears to be completely new as well as adding a third of the book on the Alekhine attack (missing from the 1st edition). Being from Batsford and this new book, maybe I shouldn't list as a "2nd edition." At any rate, excellent detailing of this traditional systems. Figurine algebraic notation.
