The artist was from Massachusetts, and is well known for his New England landscape scenes, and this is a lovely representation of his styling. The print depicts a spring in bloom scene along a dirt path. With the addition of some coloring, the landscape really offers a serenity to the viewer. The print is hand signed by the artist. I am dating this work of art to the early 1900s, as he passed in 1941. Overall, the print is in good to very good 'as found' condition, with the color being vivid. The paper back does have some tears. The gilded frame measures 9 3/4" x 7 3/4" and has a weight of about 11 ounces. It will ship at 1 pound 10 ounces, as it will be boxed for protection.
