Husqvarna 266 Professional Chainsaw — 67cc — Made in Sweden — Runs Great Up for sale is a vintage Husqvarna 266, one of the most respected professional chainsaws of the 1980s and the foundation of the legendary 266XP / 266SE / 268 / 272XP family. All-magnesium case, Swedish-built by Husqvarna AB, Huskvarna Sweden. These saws are sought after by collectors, firewood cutters, and pros who appreciate the quality and serviceability of the original-generation Husky pro saws. Specs: • Engine: 67cc / 4.1 cu in 2-stroke • Power: ~4.6 HP • Magnesium crankcase, all-original platform • Bar studs: standard Husqvarna large mount (compatible with 16”–28” bars) • Anti-vibration handle, side-mount chain tensioner Condition: Runs great. Starts, idles, and accelerates as it should. Chain brake works. Oiler works. Compression feels strong (see clutch-side photo — clutch and drum look solid). Cosmetics: Honest used condition consistent with a vintage working saw. Paint wear and chips on the side cover and clutch cover (see photos). Top cover has a small stress crack near the H emblem — common spot on these saws, purely cosmetic, does not affect operation. Original Husqvarna 266 model badge is intact (worn but legible). Original Husqvarna AB Sweden serial plate is present (s/n 6166 17X visible). Provenance: Penn Power Tool (“P”) dealer sticker still on the top cover — nice piece of original dealer history.
