Vintage HO Rivarossi 2-8-8-2 USRA Mallot Y6B Pennsylvania #2197, Runs. No box or instructions. The loco runs with a bit of hesitancy, primarily at startup going forward. It was a bit noisy, so I added a drop of oil to the 2 oil ports underneath. It ran better; but, could still use more TLC. Offering this vintage 1970 HO scale Rivarossi 2-8-8-2 USRA Mallot Y6B steam locomotive marked Pennsylvania #2197. No box or instructions. The loco runs with a bit of hesitancy, primarily at startup going forward. It was a bit noisy, so I added a drop of oil to the 2 oil ports underneath. It ran better; but, could still use more TLC. It is only 546 years old. I did not see any lights. The engine looks complete; but, the tender is missing a front and a rear step. Both units show a paint issue that kind of looks like glossy paint rubbed/worn off to look like a flat finish – might consider it a “weathered look.” Make sure you check the “See Details” in the SHIPPING COST line for your best shipping cost option.
