For the North American market, Capitol Records released a modified version that significantly altered the album's musical identity. By removing four tracks and adding two acoustic songs ("I've Just Seen a Face" and "It's Only Love") left over from the UK Help! album, Capitol refashioned Rubber Soul into a cohesive folk-rock masterpiece. This specific US variation famously served as the primary inspiration for Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys to compose his masterpiece, Pet Sounds . 💎 CONDITION vinyl: very good plus (vg+) cover: near mint (nm) small piece of original shrink is missing on front side, see pics 🧾 NOTES FOR COLLECTORS This copy is a highly collectible, authentic 1965 US first mono pressing from Capitol’s Los Angeles, California plant.
