Original ACEO painting 3.5 x 2.5 landscape boats and flowers. This is an original ACEO Gouache painting created by Mary Jewell Watercolor. It is a small, signed piece of art measuring 3.5 x 2.5 inches, featuring a mountain landscape with boats in the distance. The painting is unframed and handmade, produced on a cold pressed cotton blend 140lb paper and Daniel Smith “extra fine” professional watercolors. About me, I started my watercolor journey in 2024, I am self taught and learning more each day. I found that watercolor helped me relieve stress and it has become a part of my daily routine. I created Mary Jewell watercolor art in honor of my mom who was a creative inspiration to me and was truly a “Jewell”. I hope you enjoy this piece which I have titled “Boats in the Distance”. This was painted with Gouache is similar to watercolor in that it is activated with water, but instead of being transparent like watercolor, gouache is opaque.
