LP BOBBY SHERMAN HERE COMES BOBBY NEAR MINT VINYL EXCELLENT COVER METROMEDIA1028. Bobby Sherman was much more than a "teen Idol" from the late 60's into the early 70's. He was more of a Renaissance man. He had success as a singer and an actor into the mid 70's. Sherman passed last year at the age of 81. Here Comes Bobby by Bobby Sherman, 1970 Metromedia MD 1028. This was Sherman's second lp, and contained 2 top 10 hits, "Easy Come, Easy Go", and "La, La, La (If I Had You)" - both #9 hits in 1970. Bobby Sherman was much more than a "teen Idol" from the late 60's into the early 70's. He was more of a Renaissance man. He had a great voice, wrote some of his songs,and could play 16 musical instruments! He had success as a singer and an actor into the mid 70's. Then he opted for a total career change, becoming a paramedic. Sherman then volunteered with the LAPD to teach first aid skills, and also became a volunteer deputy sheriff. Sherman passed last year at the age of 81. GRADING, VINYL: Side 1 and side 2 are NM; actually closer to MINT. But I played both sides to make sure there were no manufacturers defects. No defects or marks of any kind. GRADE: NM. LABEL GRADE: SIDE 1) There is a tiny scratch, about a quarter inch, lower left side. GRADE: EXCELLENT SIDE 2) NEAR MINT. COVER GRADE: FRONT: Small bent corners, bottom left and right. Slight edgewear, bottom middle,about 1". BACK: Small bent corners, bottom left and right. GATEFOLD: Small bends, middle top and bottom. COVER GRADE: EXCELLENT.
