Marantz UD9004 Blu-ray SACD CD Player Working but.... This is the Marantz UD9004. This is the most expensive blu-ray player ever made. It plays SACD/DVD-A/DVD/CD/Blu-ray. SACD is great but Hybrid SACDs it always plays the CD layer instead. So basically all the insides work perfectly but the disc drive and belt will need to be replaced if you want a perfect machine. This is the Marantz UD9004. This is the most expensive blu-ray player ever made. It plays SACD/DVD-A/DVD/CD/Blu-ray It also plays CD-R/DVD-R/BD-R. cosmetically its not in amazing shape. see pics. but not too bad. its missing the bottom feet. also a remote control will be included that works fine but its not the original remote. power cord is also included but not shown in pics. Its works perfectly however... The belt that opens the tray needs to be replaced. The tray does not open anymore and it has a disc stuck inside of it that needs to be removed first. also the Disc Drive will need to be replaced if you want it to play every format. when I first got it. It played everything. But over the years little by little the laser started to wear out and some formats became harder to read. Some DVDs read but not all of them. It plays all Blu-rays however. Blu-ray25GB and 50GB and BD-R25GB are still perfect. BD-R50GB some will play others not. SACD is great but Hybrid SACDs it always plays the CD layer instead. It just to be fine but over time the laser starts defaulting to CDs. CDs and CDR all play perfectly. DVD-r doesnt play anymore and store bought DVDs. some will and some not. Some DVD-As play others not. ---------------------------- So basically all the insides work perfectly but the disc drive and belt will need to be replaced if you want a perfect machine. And you need to remove the blu-ray that is stuck inside the disc drive. If you are good with electronics then you might easily fix this and have a great deal. its gauranteed to work as stated or your money back.
