Bauhaus - The Bela Session 12” Vinyl EP (LR150). Bela Lugosi's Dead (Official Version): The full nine-minute recording, marking its first official vinyl reissue in over 30 years. Boys (Original Version):Previously unreleased; later re-recorded as the B-side for the original "Bela Lugosi's Dead" single. Produced directly by the band in partnership with Los Angeles-based label Leaving Records and distributed by Stones Throw Records, This was first released on November 23, 2018, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the band's formation. This EP is the first release of the band's complete first studio session from January 26, 1979. The audio was newly mastered from the original analogue tapes by Mandy Parnell at Black Saloon Studios. The EP features five tracks, including three that were previously unreleased until this 2018 collection: 1. Bela Lugosi's Dead (Official Version): The full nine-minute recording, marking its first official vinyl reissue in over 30 years. 2. Some Faces: Previously unreleased. 3. Bite My Hip: Previously unreleased; later reworked as "Lagartija Nick" in 1983. 4. Harry: Originally released in 1982 as a B-side to "Kick in the Eye". 5. Boys (Original Version):Previously unreleased; later re-recorded as the B-side for the original "Bela Lugosi's Dead" single. Although preowned, this EP is in mint condition through and through. It is in its original cellophane and has been kept in a plastic album protector.
