This belonged to my mother, who suffered from alopecia, but we believe that this wig was never worn. It is in the original box and the original sales tag is still here (see pics), indicating that it was purchased at Strouss department store for $39.99 (marked-down from $85.00). Nothing seems to be dated, but my mother died more than 20 years ago, and the Strouss store was gone long before that; I'm guessing that this dates to the 1970s or '80s.
