GRAIL! Big Brother/Janis Joplin “Cheap Thrills” 1968 MONO 1st Pressing LP. Rare!. Impossibly rare 1968 MONO pressing of Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company - Janis Joplin. This is regarded as the rarest LP in Columbia’s rock catalogue. A precious few mono copies were pressed, as by 1968 the switch to stereo was on and mono mixes were being phased out. Most mono copies went to radio. These rarely come up for auction and when they do, they’re usually trashed. This one retains its original gloss with just a few light scuffs/marks that DNAP.
