This vintage vinyl is the debut lp from The Caravelles, a vocal pop group from England. You Don't Have To Be A Baby To Cry was released in 1963, Smash records, mono MGS 27044. The Caravelles were Lois Wilkinson and Andrea Simpson. The title track was a big hit (#6, 1963), and the lp contained a minor hit as well ("Have You Ever Been Lonely"). GRADING, VINYL: SIDE 1) A few light scratches show up under strong light that do not affect play except on Cut 3 ( I Don't Really Want To Know) - a tic at :35 seconds. No other snaps, crackles, pops or defects of any kind. SIDE 2) A few light scratches show up under strong light.
