PAOLO SOLERI Whale Bronze Vintage Wind Bell "SAVE ME" and Signed PS, Cosanti MCM. The bell features the Cosanti hallmark on the side of the bell. ** PRICED TO SELL ** This bronze bell was designed by Paolo Soleri, as part of the *Save The Whales* conservation movement against whaling in the 1980's. The bell features the Cosanti hallmark on the side of the bell. The words "SAVE ME" are stamped on the whale fin on one side, and "PS" (Paolo Soleri) is stamped on the opposite side of the fin. This bell features a double-striking design; the clapper, shown in the last picture strikes the bell and an additional exterior ball striker dangling from the mouth of the whale does as well. We've had this as part of our collection since the 80's. It has a nicely aged patina, and is about 30" hanging. Please see the photos, and feel free to ask any questions.
