Vintage 50s-60s Harold Gale 15" Santa Claus Doll - Red Suit & White Plastic.... This sale is for a vintage MCM Harold Gale Santa Claus store display figure from the 1940s-1960s. Materials: Features a molded rubber face with white faux fur hair and beard, wearing a red velvet suit with white trim, a white vinyl belt, and hard white plastic boots. Dimensions: 15" Manufacturer: Harold Gale began producing these recognizable store displays around 1946, featuring hand-painted faces and handmade costumes. This doll is vibrantly colored and its materials are mostly in excellent shape except for the right plastic boot which is chipped on the front toes and the same boot has a slight darkish colored small crack on the back. I believe you can purchase a replacement boot pretty easily. Displays beautifully. Someone stored this doll in just the perfect place because it looks like it was JUST on display in a department store Christmas showcase.
