The image features the historic Old Stone Church, which still stands today at the edge of the water, along with an early view of the landscape when the reservoir basin was not yet flooded. This photograph was recently hand-printed in my darkroom from the original glass negative taken by photographer William Bullard, who documented Worcester County and surrounding areas in the early 20th century.
