It is from John Hinton's The History and Topography of The United States of North America , (Boston: Samuel Walker, 1856), a copy of the title page is included for authentication. It is being sold as a single sheet and is not mounted, matted nor framed. Overall, a rare print with very fine engraved line work and a beautiful design that would frame up nicely! Size: The image area measures approximately 5 1/2 by 8 inches (14x20cm) on a 9 by 11" (23x28cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic. Condition: The print is in Very Good to Excellent condition for its age, printed on a strong page, blank on reverse, with embossed plate marks in the margin. There is slight wear around the edges, hardly worth mentioning, otherwise it is very well preserved with a nice strong impression that would frame up nicely, see the pics for more on condition.
