Tested works! Offered here is a complete LGB G Scale Amtrak ICE Experimental 5-Car Train Set, produced by Lehmann Gross Bahn as part of the well-known LGB The Big Train series. This striking high-speed passenger train represents the Amtrak ICE Experimental Train, which was tested in the United States by Amtrak in the early 1990s. Included in this set • Powered locomotive – LGB 91950 • 1st Class passenger car • Dining car • 2nd Class passenger car • End locomotive / control car This is the correct and complete 5-car consist that collectors look for. Condition This is a vintage LGB model train set in used condition. The locomotive has been tested and runs, and I will include a short video showing it operating so buyers can see it in motion. The set displays beautifully and the paint and Amtrak graphics still present well. Known condition notes: • One locomotive is missing a rubber traction tire on one wheel. • Styrofoam rubbing marks are present on the windshields of both locomotives from long-term storage in the original box inserts. • Normal wear and light handling marks consistent with age and use. Pantographs appear intact and the train has been stored carefully. Additional details collectors appreciate • Early production marked “Made in Western Germany.” • Classic LGB G-scale garden railway model known for durability and outdoor operation. • Complete Amtrak ICE consist with both locomotives and dining car. • Original boxes included.
