The photobook was inspired by Midori, a young girl living in the Yoshiwara pleasure quarter who appears in the short story Takekurabe by Ichiyō Higuchi. All pages are presented in black and white. The waterglobe is exactly as described: in perfect condition! It's beautiful- finding waterglobes that are full with intact glitter can be challenging, but this was perfect!
