Capture a piece of American World War I history with this impressive panoramic photograph of Company L, 33rd Michigan Infantry. Taken by photographer Burnell on August 30, 1917, this “yardlong” image shows the full company assembled in formation in front of their military tents at Escanaba, Michigan, just before the United States officially entered the war. •Size: 39 x 9.5 inches panoramic photograph Condition: Minor creases are visible on close inspection. The frame shows scratches and has few missing screws on the back, but it remains stable and securely holds the photograph and glass. Overall, the image is intact and clearly visible. •Historical Significance: The 33rd Michigan Infantry was organized to support the U.S. war effort and later served as part of the 11th Division at Camp Custer.
