This is the whimsical "Elf" or "Jester" version with the signature turning knob (topknot) that rotates the head to reveal different faces. The 3 Faces: 1. Whistling/Pouty: (Rare "O" mouth expression). 2. Sleeping: (Eyes closed). 3. Crying: (Frowning face). Condition Details: • Head Structure: No impact cracks. The lines visible on the head appear to be mold seams or paint crazing/separating from age. where the head sections were originally joined. These manufacturing seams have become visible due to age (paint separation), but the head is structurally sound. • Paint: Typical crazing is present on the composition face, which is common for dolls of this era (1940s). • Outfit: Original sewn-on wool felt elf suit is bright and colorful but has moth damage (holes visible on legs/sleeves ect). • Body: Cloth body is intact with some age soil.
