18" American Girl Doll Pleasant Company Kirsten Tinsel Hair Early 1990's PC. Kirsten has sparkly tinsel hair, only found in a couple years of production (1990-1991), making her a more rare and hard to find version. Up for your consideration is a lovely early 1990's Kirsten! I'm unsure of her exact date, as I got her in a lot from a customizer, and her head wasn't originally paired with this body - but it seems appropriate for her, as it's a soft vinyl PC body. Her head has some white body doll features such as long curly eyelashes, so it's possible that she originally had a white body, but I have no way of knowing for sure. Priced lower than my other tinsel dolls to account for her unknown history! Kirsten has sparkly tinsel hair, only found in a couple years of production (1990-1991), making her a more rare and hard to find version. It’s beautiful, just somewhat dry/coarse, especially at the ends, and very thinned out, as is common for vintage tinsel hair, there are ways to condition/restore it if you wish. Besides that, she's in good condition. No signs of silver or bubble eye defects. Beautiful full, soft brown curly lashes. Somewhat loose limbs, though I did still get her to stand unassisted. Neck strings have been replaced. Clean vinyl and cloth body, may have shine/smudge marks, and there is one small tear in her cloth body (front side near waist) that I haven't attempted to repair.
