The Originals: 1988 Playmates Leonardo & Master Splinter Own a piece of turtle history! This lot features two "Series 1" cornerstone characters from the debut 1988 Playmates line. These are the authentic originals, stamped ©1988 on the feet. Leonardo (Series 1): The classic leader in blue. Figure is in very good vintage condition and great color. Master Splinter (Series 1): The wise sensei. Clean sculpt with minimal paint loss on the nose and eyes. ⚠️ Condition Note: This is a Figure-Only Lot . No accessories (Katanas, Cane, or Robe) are included. These are "naked" figures, making them the perfect affordable option for collectors looking to complete a set or for fans who already have spare weapons! Notice: Items are protected in poly bags/plastic totes. However, we use recycled packing and shipping materials that may be stored near alternative heating, causing them to carry a faint wood or propane scent.
The condition of the item I received was worse than advertised in the description, but the seller was the friendliest and most proactive in reaching a resolution that I have ever encountered! I cannot overstate how wonderful this seller is to work with, and despite the initial hiccup, I would order from them again in a heartbeat knowing that they are super easy to engage and happy to help. Genuinely turned my whole day around with their reception of my complaint, and came to the best fix!
Shipping was fast! Item was packed well. Item arrived exactly as described. Only downside was a STRONG smoke smell on item & all shipping supplies. Luckily I purchased glass so I will wash & hope smoke smell comes off. Had to discard all packaging asap. Unsure if seller smokes but if so they should disclose in their listing as I am strongly allergic to cigarette smoke, as it gives me asthma.
