Description

Absolutely stunning vintage porcelain fish dinnerware set by JWK Bavaria , produced in West Germany and dating to approximately 1969–1970 , based on the backstamp identification. This elegant set features hand-painted freshwater fish scenes , each plate depicting a different fish in a detailed underwater environment with aquatic plants and shoreline accents. The artwork is finely executed, rich in color, and beautifully balanced on classic white porcelain with a thin brown rim. The oval serving platter has a subtle curve, making it both visually striking and functional for serving fish or seafood while helping contain juices. These pieces are equally impressive for display, lodge décor, or a dramatic seafood tablescape . One plate shows very small speckled dots in the glaze, consistent with a manufacturing/kiln speckling defect , not damage. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect display or use .
