It was listed as working but It only powers on which I think many sellers believe that means the cassette deck operates. cassette decks that work means It will play cassettes since belts degrade,stick,or melt over time If unused. If I could have found a repair company I would've kept It sice it was a beautiful deck. On the positive side though the seller was glad to pay a refund so i would highly recommend them.
