Extremely Rare 3" Antique All Bisque 1921 "Mibs" Dollhouse Doll By Louis Amberg. Rare to find little models. Arms are a lighter bisque than torso. Wearing silk and lace dress and little pantaloons both are sewn on the doll. Extremely rare 3" all-bisque with pink tinting, sculpted golden-brown hair in short curls with forelock curl onto forehead, head modeled tucked into torso, painted features with downcast eyes, loop-jointed bisque arms, painted greenish brown one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent with some paint wear. Arms are a lighter bisque than torso Wearing silk and lace dress and little pantaloons both are sewn on the doll. Marks: c. L.A. S Germany. Comments: Germany, circa 1920, the doll was introduced by Louis Amberg, inspired by the child in the 1920 book, Phyllis May and her Dollies by Hazel Drukker. Rare to find little models.
