CHRISTIAN DIOR Mens 38R Blazer Wool Gray Le Connaisseur VINTAGE **One Flaw**. The "Le Connaisseur" collection was announced in March 1987. There is one small imperfection as seen in photo on front of blazer. It is circled in the photos. It is very small but noted for transparency! This is a Christian Dior Le Connaisseur blazer with an ACTWU "Made in America" tag and a "Desmond" tag is a high-quality vintage garment from the late 1980s. It was manufactured under a licensing agreement in the United States and sold through the Desmond's department store chain, which was prominent in California for much of the 20th century. The "Le Connaisseur" collection was announced in March 1987. A Dior chairman referred to it as the "luxury of luxuries," representing the pinnacle of the brand's offerings at the time. The Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWU) tag was used between 1976 and 1995. This blazer was made during this period confirming a late 1980s to early 1990s production date. The specific tag was discontinued in 1995 when the union merged to form UNITE.
