Vtg Clip BIRD Spun Glass Tail Christmas Ornament Western Germany Vibrant Colors. This is a charming blown glass. It has been well preserved since the 60s. This is a charming blown glass. Bird clip on ornament from the 60s, made in western Germany. The clip is imprinted with “western Germany“. This piece measures approximately 2 inches high, including the clip, and 5.5 inches in length, including the tail. this ornament is in excellent vintage condition. It has been well preserved since the 60s. I do not believe it was ever even used or maybe used once and packed away, as were most of the Christmas items from this estate. It has some glue residue where the tail goes into the body. There are a couple of paint skips on the red part which I believe to be manufacturing issues, as well as inconsistent black paint on the beak, also from manufacturing.
