L'indagine vegetazionale è stata condotta su un'area di 1,0 ettari nell'insediamento Córrego do Quixinxé, che si estende per 5.561,63 ettari e si trova nel comune di Ocara - CE con coordinate geografiche 04°36'49,8" di latitudine sud e 38°36'51" di longitudine ovest. L'area è stata suddivisa in 50 parcelle di 20m 10m. Dopo questa divisione, le parcelle sono state disegnate in modo completamente casuale.
