Das gesamte Vorwort im Teil A gilt sinngemäß auch für den nunmehr vorliegenden Teil B. Auch im Dritten Band wurde jedem Verfasser die Möglichkeit gegeben, seine Indi- vidualität zu wahren und in seinem eigenen Stil zu schreiben. Ich hoffe, daß durch dieses Teamwork, wie es sich auch in der Praxis des Kraftwerksbaues immer wieder bewährt, trotzdem ein in sich geschlossenes Werk entstanden ist. Den wichtigsten Kraftwerksteilen, Kessel und Turbine, wurde ein ihrer Bedeutung entsprechender Umfang eingeräumt. Während die Behandlung der mit fossilen Brenn- stoffen betriebenen Dampferzeugeranlage in TeilAdes DrittenBandes insgesamt 232 Seiten mit 228 Abbildungen umfaßt, beherrscht die Behandlung des Turbosatzes mit 360 Seiten und 364 Abbildungen den Teil B noch stärker, weil es sich hier um eine diffizilere und mehr "in die Tiefe und Breite gehende" Technik handelt. Hierbei wurden der Verbren- nungsturbine insgesamt 56 Seiten eingeräumt, da deren praktische Bedeutung in Strom- und Wärmeerzeugung- allein für sich und in Kombination mit Dampfturbinen- erheb- lich größer geworden ist. Die Einphasengeneratoren für den Einsatz in Bahnkraftwerken haben während der letzten Jahre insbesondere in Deutschland eine unerwartet große Lei- stungssteigerung erfahren. Es erschien darum erforderlich, auch auf diese Spezialmaschinen einzugehen.   2. The basket is perfectly what I ordered and as listed. It came in the factory packaging and was perfect upon delivery. Thank you postal service lol. The delivery took way longer than listed though, it was listed to come in a week from purchase, but took a whole month. I had some concerns at first, but communication with the company was top notch and they were very professional and answered most of my questions satisfyingly. Just prepare for a longer wait than listed, but I got what I bought lol.

  3. The two new out-of-print books I ordered were exactly as described and shipped promptly. I did ask the seller's support person (an AI chatbot, I think) to be sure to package the items carefully, and "he" said that he'd make that request of the shipping department. I knew this was hooey, and as I expected, the books were shipped in nothing but a padded paper mailer, no other protection. I got lucky, no damage, but don't bother making special requests of this seller.
