Dieser Effekt wurde zuerst von PLÜCKER vor mehr als 100 Jahren - an der Universität in Bonn -aufgefunden [1]; in neuerer Zeit hat er durch die Arbeiten von ALPERT als Mittel zur Erzeugung von Ultrahochvakuum (Ionenpumpen) besonderes Interesse gewonnen. Über die Gasaufzehrung ist eine große Anzahl von Arbeiten erschienen. Die bisher vorliegenden Ergebnisse sind jedoch uneinheitlich, und es stehen noch viele Fragen offen. Eine Übersicht über die neue ren Arbeiten auf diesem Gebiet geben z. B. ALPERT [2] und CARTER [3]. Grundsätzlich können zur elektrischen Gasaufzehrung alle Vorgänge beitragen, die in einer elektrischen Entladung statt­ finden: Ionisation, Dissoziation, Anregung durch Stoß und das Auftreffen von Ladungsträgern auf Metallteilen und Isolatoren. Dagegen sollen Aufzehrungen, die nur indirekt mit der elektrischen Entladung zusammenhängen, z. B. chemische Bindungen von Gasmolekülen an der heißen Kathode, nicht zur elektrischen Gas­ aufzehrung gerechnet werden, wenn sie bei sonst gleichen Umständen auch ohne die Entladung stattfinden würden.   2. The basket is perfectly what I ordered and as listed. It came in the factory packaging and was perfect upon delivery. Thank you postal service lol. The delivery took way longer than listed though, it was listed to come in a week from purchase, but took a whole month. I had some concerns at first, but communication with the company was top notch and they were very professional and answered most of my questions satisfyingly. Just prepare for a longer wait than listed, but I got what I bought lol.

  3. The two new out-of-print books I ordered were exactly as described and shipped promptly. I did ask the seller's support person (an AI chatbot, I think) to be sure to package the items carefully, and "he" said that he'd make that request of the shipping department. I knew this was hooey, and as I expected, the books were shipped in nothing but a padded paper mailer, no other protection. I got lucky, no damage, but don't bother making special requests of this seller.
