Vintage Welly Trabant Scale 1:34 (approx?) Rare Model. info via Imperial War Museum's Website Search: “Trabant Car SS 4725” (or just the numbers) to find the same model colour on the Imperial War Museum's website. “ Description Physical description Bright green metal model Trabant car. The badge on the bonnet is a letter S inside a circle. The registration number is "DDR-1989". The base of the car is made from black plastic and features the number "SS 4725" and the words "MADE IN CHINA". On the base is a CE (European conformity) sticker. History note A pull-back spring driven toy Trabant car, that was made in China, but sold in Germany Cast into plastic chassis SS 4725 Made in China ” I’d guess the scale is 1:34 / 1:38 ? But not clear so in rocks and stones. Width: 55mm (2 3/8”) Length: 125mm (5”) Height: 50mm (2”) Condition 1 paint chip to N/S/F Wing above the headlight. Other than that it’s mint. - Made from Heavy Duty die-cast metal. Very accurate model of the iconic GDR Trabant. Pull back mechanism fully working as are the opening car doors. NB.
