In her advanced state of pregnancy Madhu expires due to a mysterious serious affliction, driving Prageeth to a trauma and near mental depression wherein he believes that Madhu is still alive but recovers soon due the immense love and care bestowed on him by his colleague and bosom-friend Dr. Ann who now adopts a dual role of Madhu and Ann herself and becomes his bride in his distraught mindset.
