The hardest thing to do in life is to accept one's Fate on its terms. Nietzsche used this phrase in tandem with his incomplete theory of the Eternal Recurrence, which, in short, is the theory that all things that occur not only happen once, but happen an infinite amount of times. In order to accept this ideology one has to be strong enough to acknowledge that every joy, sorrow, horror, hardship and conquest are essentially going to repeat ad infinitum.
