Antique PEKINGESE Hand-Painted Porcelain Dog Figurine (3"×2.5") Staffordshire? Appears to be marked "Portugal", but looks more like "Ortagal" with no room for a "P". Very similar to Staffordshire Pekingese figurine designs. The "Mark" signature may not be original to the piece. Im assuming it's a Pekingese, but also possible it's a Lion? All in all, a very confusing figurine that despite extensive research, I have yet to find any concrete answers. If you see this and would like to provide any additional insight or information, it would be much appreciated. *PLEASE BE ADVISED* DUE TO DIFFERENCES IN PHONE LIGHTING SETTINGS, COLOR IN PICS MAY DIFFER. THESE DIFFERENCES SEEM TO BE MORE PRONOUNCED ON iPHONES, I HAVE AN ANDROID. TO HAVE THE MOST ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF TRUE COLOR, PLEASE HAVE YOUR "LIGHTING" SETTING SET DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE & "BLUE LIGHT FILTER" TURNED OFF.
