Beautifully hand ground, with crisp and symmetrical grind lines , this beauty is well balanced and comfortable in the hand ...the 440C blade hardness is Rockwell 58 to 60 after heat treatment, which provides good wear resistance due to its high carbon content...Good corrosion resistance compared to other high-carbon steels, due to the presence of 16 to 18 % chromium, which helps to prevent rust.... Toughness after tempering, making the blade resistant to cracking and chipping under normal use .... It also takes a very sharp edge that holds up very well.... The handle is made of nicely figured rosewood combined with resin for an attractive and unique look which is also very durable... It's securely riveted to the full Tang for Superior strength it also has a brass wrist thong tube...This knife would make a great user or a nice addition to your collection...
