Collin Board of Publication Lutheran RSV Revised Standard Version Bible Illustrated Leather 962 A Helps This is a beautiful illustrated RSV edition published by the Board of Publication of the Lutheran Church in America. They used a Collins text block. Collin’s seemed to specialized in illustrated editions and are always a joy to find. Please note the publication year for the edition if that matters to you. I believe this is a 1st edition. The presentation page was filled. Pages still stick, so it was used infrequently. The binding appears in near-perfect condition. It is still flexible and soft, though one part of the back cover’s cover has a small abrasion. The illustrations are beautiful and scattered throughout the Bible. This would be an excellent reading/teaching Bible or rebind project due to its fantastic condition and the easy fix of the presentation page. It has sewn binding. The page edges are in fantastic shape. Some mild discontinuity with the dye, but honestly couldn’t see any noticeable scratches. 7.75 x 5.35 x 1.2 inches Dime used for comparison Note: I do not accept returns unless the item was not as I described because of a mistake I made. I make these annoying rules because so many customers have recently treated the purchase of items flippantly and I have to draw a line somewhere. Well, here it is. I always list any writing, stains, tears, or imperfection of any kind. And I always list the condition conservatively, so you should expect the item to be in better condition than listed. Unlike the vast majority of sellers out there, I refuse to hide imperfections through cleverly taken pictures or obscure descriptions. I try to include as many pictures as necessary to highlight the imperfections rather than the beauty of the items, which is part of why I have an elevated Seller Status and perfect feedback in which many consistently report back “just as described” or “better than described.” If I miss something by accident, please contact me so I can make it right. Seller’s description and pictures were very helpful. The description said that there was no fojnd writing, but upon nope king the Bible I immediately saw a significant amount of underlining, mostly in the New Testament. It was done neatly so not a huge deal, but not as described. Overall happy with the purchase, but feel as if the price was a bit high considering this omission.
Received the Bible today, it was packaged very well and is just as described, like new condition, seems almost unused, amazing considering the age of the Bible! Great seller, plan to purchase again! God bless! 🙏
