3 RPPC Post Cards c.1910 Hotel Parador Banos de Coamo, Puerto Rico Hot Springs. The resort was built in 1857, and closed its doors in1959. This listing is for a set of three (3) c.1910 unposted RPPC, divided back postcards of the Hotel Parador Banos de Coamo located on the Northeastern Caribbean /West Indies island of Puerto Rico, in the city of Coamo, with two of the three postcards offering a view of some of the amenities that the hotel grounds had to offer to entertain their guests. The Hotel sat alongside the Coama Thermal Baths /Hot Springs, and was considered a prominent lodging establishment and spa at the turn of the century. The resort was built in 1857, and closed its doors in1959. In the 1970's, the resurrection of the resort was completed on the historic grounds of the Hotel to promote local tourism. Unfortunately, the iconic hotel sustained severe damage during Hurricane Maria in 2017, with repairs in flux, though paused at this point in time... The above listed Post Cards have no written correspondence on the back, and have never been posted. These three postcards all remain in good antique condition.
